​Job Description​

We are seeking a Principal CPU Verification Engineer to lead efforts in ensuring the correctness and efficiency of our advanced CPU designs. In this role, you will leverage innovative tools and methodologies to detect and resolve complex logic bugs, drive verification strategies, implement novel verification methodologies and collaborate across teams to optimize the design verification lifecycle. You will play a key part in delivering high-quality CPU Design through comprehensive verification frameworks.

Responsibilities
​
  • Architect Verification strategies and testbenches 

  • Create and utilize cutting-edge tools and methodologies to detect, analyze, and resolve digital logic bugs in advanced CPU designs. 

  • Develop and implement verification methodologies that enhance design correctness, streamlining verification cycles for improved efficiency. 

  • Manage and maintain verification collateral using industry-standard tools, while also developing new tools when needed to meet evolving business requirements. 

  • Lead efforts to ensure complete verification of CPU designs, driving convergence towards high-quality CPU design  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the design verification flow, aligning with the overall CPU development lifecycle. 

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in design verification.

Qualification :​
​​
  • Bachelor’s (BS) or Master’s (MS) degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 

  • Minimum 10 years of pre-silicon verification experience with an MS degree or 15 years with a BS degree, preferably focused on CPU verification. 

  • Expertise in SystemVerilog and Python for testbench creation, debugging, and scripting automation. 

  • Familiarity with ARM, x86, or RISC-V architectures and assembly language programming. 

  • Programming experience in industry-standard languages (e.g., C, C++, Perl, Python). 

  • Experience with C/C++/SV BFM coding, implementation and definition.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex CPU design issues. 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent communication abilities.
