Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Lead

Job Description
We’re looking for a high-energy Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Lead to drive critical relationships across the semiconductor ecosystem. This role will be a mix of technical partnership development (IP licensing, SoC integrations, EDA tools, and silicon partners) and strategic partnerships and alliances (industry collaborations, go-to-market partnerships, and customer engagement deals).

Responsibilities

Identify, initiate, and manage strategic partnerships / alliances with System-in-Package (SIP) vendors, OEMs, foundries, silicon IP, and ecosystem players (e.g., platforms, software, EDA, design houses).

Lead technical partnership / alliance negotiations including IP integration and joint development, licensing models, and go-to-market terms

Work with engineering teams to define integration paths, timelines, and deliverables for silicon partners.

Represent AheadComputing at industry events with early strategic customers.

Collaborate with executive leadership on business development-related collateral: Pitch decks, technical briefs, partner onboarding materials.

Identify green fields/opportunities for partnership-driven growth.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:​

5+ years experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or OEM/SoC/EDA ecosystem roles.

A strong understanding of semiconductor/IP licensing, chip design, SoCs, and microprocessor platforms.

Ability to communicate with both engineering and executive stakeholders.

Experience negotiating commercial and technical partnership agreements.

Comfortable in early-stage environments—self-directed, scrappy, and strategic.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with RISC-V or ARM IP licensing.

Experience working with Tier 1 OEMs.
