Job Description:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Systems Engineer to join our dynamic CPU Design team. The successful candidate will be critical in developing, optimizing, and maintaining the networks, hardware, and security underpinning our cutting-edge CPU design projects. As a Senior Information Systems Engineer, you will collaborate closely with design, verification, and implementation teams to ensure that our networks, office systems, and HPC infrastructure are efficient, secured, and aligned with the latest industry’s best practices.
Responsibilities

Tool Development & Customization: Design, develop, and maintain IT automation tools and scripts to optimize system performance, streamline workflows, and enhance operational efficiency.

Monitoring & Alerting: Develop and maintain system monitoring solutions to proactively detect issues, optimize system performance, and ensure high availability. Configure alerting mechanisms to notify teams of critical system events and incidents.

IT Process Automation: Implement automated workflows to reduce manual effort, minimize errors, and accelerate IT service delivery, ensuring reliability and scalability.

Methodology Enhancement: Continuously refining IT processes, best practices, and automation strategies to improve service quality, system reliability, and response times.

Collaboration & Support: Work closely with IT teams and end-users to identify inefficiencies and provide technical support, training, and guidance on automation tools and best practices.

Integration & Validation: Ensure seamless integration of automation tools with existing IT infrastructure. Conduct rigorous testing and performance benchmarking to validate tool effectiveness.

Documentation: Develop clear and comprehensive documentation for IT automation tools, workflows, and methodologies to ensure accessibility and knowledge sharing across teams.

Innovation & Emerging Technologies: Stay updated with the latest IT automation trends and evaluate new technologies for potential adoption to drive continuous improvements.

Technical Leadership: Mentor junior team members, provide technical expertise, and foster a culture of innovation and efficiency within the IT department.
Qualifications:​​​​

Strong background in IT automation, scripting, and system optimization.

Proficiency in programming and scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.

Experience with IT infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and IT service management (ITSM) frameworks.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Experience deploying containers and versioning.

Technical Skills:

Expertise in HPC and data center, onsite and in the cloud.

Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Shell for automation of design flows.

Strong understanding of CPU design methods and requirements for compute and licensing management (e.g, FlexLM).

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and building automation tools.

Certifications in Microsoft Intune, Azure Cloud, AWS, GPC, Terraform.
